When a Paper Jam Occurs (Clearing Paper Jams)

The following are the messages that indicate the location of the jammed paper.

Check the output tray and if paper is jammed, remove the
paper.
IMPORTANT
If the jammed paper cannot be removed easily, proceed to the next step. Do not try
to remove it forcefully.
NOTE
If there is any unfixed toner on the removed paper, toner stains may be attached on
the following printed page.

If paper is being fed from the multi purpose tray, remove paper
that is jammed in the multi purpose tray.
