Battery Pack Charging Method
The battery pack installed in this printer can be charged by inserting the AC adaptor in the
printer.
1 Insert the AC adaptor power plug into an AC power outlet.
2 Connect the AC adaptor to the printer after you have installed the
battery pack in the printer.
7 When the printer is not operat-
ing
When the AC adaptor is inserted, the
POWER LED flashes yellow and the
battery starts charging. When charging
of the battery pack is completed
normally, all LED’s are off.
7 When the printer is operating
powered by the battery pack
Charging does not occur when the
printer is receiving data, printing, or
feeding paper (POWER LED is steady
green).
If the printer stops in power ON status
(printing standby) charging starts and
the POWER LED flashes yellow.
When charging of the battery pack is
completed normally, the POWER LED
changes from flashing yellow to steady
green.

If the battery pack is completely
discharged, it takes about 4.5 hours to
charge it.
