(37) Starting/ending the macro definition (GS :)
Code : [1D]h + [3A]h
Specifies a starti or end of macro definition. Up to 2,048 bytes can be defined as macro. The bytes
exceeding 2,048 bytes cannot be defined.
• The definition is not cleared even if ESC @ (initializing the printer) is executed. Therefore, ESC @ can
be included in the definition.
• Regular printing is cperformed even duringmacro definition

Executing what is defined as macro.
• The following describes n1 through n3:
n1 : Macro execution times
n2 : Wait time at macro execution.Wait for n2 × 100 msec for each execution.
n3 : Macro execution mode
n3 Mode
0 Continuous execution
1 Execution by the paper feed switch
Continuous execution : The macro is executed n1 times continuously at the time intervals
specified by n2.
Execution by the paper
Feed switch : After waiting for lapse of time specified by n2, the ERROR LED flickers
andthepaperfeedswitchiswaitedtobepressed.Whenitispressed,the
macro is executed once. This action is repeated n1 times.
