processing packets until there are no more packets in the CoS transaction queue.
• Max. Latency – The maximum allowable time a packet will stay in the CoS queue. The packets in
this queue are not delayed more than the maximum allowable latency entered in this field. The
timer is disabled when this field is set to zero. Each unit of this timer is equal to 16 microseconds.
Max. Latency takes precedence over the CoS scheduling algorithm.
Default Port Priority assignment
Select Configure Default Priority and press Enter to access the following screen:

This screen allows you to set a default priority for packets that have not already been assigned a
priority value. After filling out the two fields offered, press APPLY to let your changes take effect.
