Using the Configuration Menu (continued)
Controls how the DVC-1100 obtains an IP address.
Allows you to enter a primary and secondary DNS
address.
This screen controls how a public IP address is
obtained. If the Public IP button is “grayed out”, it
means that your DVC-1100 is in the process of search-
ing for a public IP address. If this lasts for more than
30 seconds, the DVC-1100 will most likely not find a
public IP address. Please see #16 in the Trouble-
shooting section in this manual for more information.
Allows for setting transmit and receive speeds that
best match your current connection.
The PING network utility allows you to test the
network connection of the DVC-1100 by “pinging” an
IP address.
Allows Wireless mode to be enabled and the wireless
settings to be accessed.
