Using the background monitoring icon
A printer-shaped background monitoring icon appears on the
taskbar after you install the Status Monitor.
Double-clicking the background monitoring icon opens the
EPSON Status Monitor 2 window. Right-clicking this icon
opens a pop-up menu where you can choose to have the Status
Alert displayed in front of other windows on the desktop. This
pop-up menu also allows you to turn off the background
monitoring feature.
If you turn off background monitoring, the background
monitoring icon disappears from the taskbar. To turn
background monitoring back on, open the Settings menu in the
EPSON Status Monitor 2 window, point to
Background
Monitoring
and select
Monitor from restart
or
Monitor now
.
Note:
The background monitoring feature must be turned on before you can
set monitoring preferences for printers in the Installed Printers list.
