7. Remove your finger from the fingerprint sensor.
The following screen appears, and the fingerprint
verifications will be repeated twice.
8. For verification procedure, place the finger to
register on the fingerprint sensor again.
If the verification is successfully done, the following
screen appears
9. Second verification starts.
10.When the second verification process has been
completed, the following message appears.
Then the message indicating that the fingerprint data
is being saved is displayed.
Next, the registration completed message appears.
Press [ENT] key to finish the registration.
2.7 Scan Test
Do an image scan test after configuration.

Check whether the image can be scanned successfully
using the below procedures.

•Loading Document
•Scanning Operation when the scanner button is
pressed
■ User Authentication
To change from the logout status to the ready-to-start
scanning status, fingerprint authentication must be done.
Also, PIN authentication is equipped as an alternative to
an injured users or users with difficulties in fingerprint
authentication.
Authentication by Fingerprint
1. When "Place your finger on the sensor" mes-
sage is displayed, place the registered finger on
the fingerprint sensor.
When the finger placed on the fingerprint sensor is
detected, the following message appears and the fin-
gerprint capturing begins.
Fingerprint will
