5.1.10 SET CCB REGISTERS (A)
“Set CCB registers” allows you to view and alter the contents of the registers on the CCB
(Camera Controller Board). These registers store the parameters controlling the function of the
camera.
When you press <A> for “Set CCB Registers”, the prompt, “Do you want to initialize CCB
Board? Type “Y” (yes), or “N” (No)-->,”appears. If you press <Y>, the registers will be
cleared of their current and reset to the values stored on the Non-volatile RAM (NVRAM) on
the CALS Board. If you press <N>, the current values will be retained until you change them
or the scanner is turned off. In either case, the operative values will be displayed as shown in
figure 5-25.

5.1.11 TEST FRAME GRABBER (B)
This option allows you to test the Frame Grabber section of the display board which creates the
image seen on the display monitor. When you select this option, a pattern of boxes will fill the
display of monitor so you can check the screen for squareness and centering. On the scanner
control terminal, the prompt, “Hit any key to exit,” appears. Entering any key will return you
to the Diagnostic Tests menu.
