Enter the DNS server IP
address(es) provided by your ISP,
or specify your own preferred DNS
server IP address(es). NOTE: The
DNS 2 and DNS 3 servers are
optional. They will be used if/when
the DNS 1 server fails.
Select in
order for the router to respond to
ping commands originating from the
WAN (Internet). NOTE: As a security precaution, this option should
not be selected.
Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) allows Windows
Me and XP to automatically congure the router for various Internet
applications, such as gaming and videoconferencing. To use UPnP,
select “Enable UPnP.”
Click to save and apply the current settings.
Click to clear and reset the current settings.
Click to exit the current settings.
Click
“Setup” to display the
Virtual Servers screen
and options.
Select as
needed.
Make a
selection from the
pull-down menu.
Enter the local server’s IP address.
Select the protocol (“TCP,” “UDP” or “Both”) used by the
remote system or service.
For TCP and UDP services, enter the beginning of
