Chapter 6 Using the Scanner Functions
PC(SMB) registration/edit
zUp to 256 profile names for PC (SMB) can be registered.
1 Touch the [Name] key.
→ The [Data Input] screen is displayed.
2 Enter [Name] for the destination.
→ Input the name of the destination to be displayed on the destination list.
zThe [Name] can be up to 24 characters.
For details on character input, refer to [3-1. Inputting Text] ( Page 16).
3 Touch the [OK] key.
→ The display returns to the [PC(SMB) registration/edit] screen.
4 Touch the [Host Name] key.
→ The [Data Input] screen is displayed.
5 Enter the name of the PC to which data is sent.
zUp to 15 characters can be input for [Host Name] using alphanumerics or symbols.
zInput [Host Name] for the computer name using Windows.
6 Touch the [OK] key.
→ The display returns to the [PC(SMB) registration/edit] screen.
7 Touch the [Folder] key.
→ The [Data Input] screen is displayed.
