components are customer replaceable units (CRU) and which components are field
replaceable units (FRU).
v If an action step is preceded by “(Trained service technician only),” that step must
be performed only by a trained service technician.

found.
1. Make sure that a bootable
operating system is installed.
2. Run the hard disk drive
diagnostic tests.
3. Reseat the following
components:
a. Hard disk drive
b. CD or DVD drive and
cables
c. (Trained service technician
only) System board
4.
Replace the components listed
in step 3 one at a time, in the
order shown, restarting the
server each time.
I9990650 AC power has been restored.
1. Check the power cables.
2. Check for interruption of the
power supply.
