OPERATOR PANEL
OVERVIEW
The printer’s Operator Panel allows you to read printer
messages and change printer settings directly at the printer.
The Operator Panel on the SuperScript 4650 Series printer
consists of eight buttons and six indicator lights.

OPERATOR PANEL FEATURES
Indicator Lights
The indicator lights on the Operator Panel help communicate
the status of the printer.
Power Warning Online
Menu OnLine
Data OHT Label
Feed Item Media

Light Mode Status
Power On Printer power is on or in POWER SAVE
mode.
(Green) Off Printer power is off.
Warning On Call for service (see page xx).
(Red) Off Normal state, no action is required.
Blinking The printer has a problem. See the
message display. If there is no
message, call for service (see page
xx).
Online On Printer is online and ready to print.
(Green) Off Printer is ofine or in menu mode.
Blinking Printer is warming up.
Data On Print buffer contains data.
(Orange) Off Print job has ended or print buffer has
been cleared by pressing the Feed
button.
Blinking Data is being sent to the printer.
