The following describes the bottom of the NEC Versa 2500 Series computer.
Battery Module Handle and Lock
To release the battery module from its compartment, push the battery compartment latch as
indicated by the arrow marked on it. While doing this, hold the handle of the battery module
and slowly pull it out from its compartment.
ROM Memory Compartment Cover
The ROM memory compartment cover is secured by tabs. Lift the cover with your finger-
nail to open this cover (the ROM chip is inside). It is not necessary to remove this cover
while performing normal service operations.
