detect the relevant parameters of the hard drive.
Some hard drives, however, do not respond correctl

values detected. In such cases,

from the list, the make and model of the drive being used.
Base Memory This field reports the amount of base (or conventional)
memor

its POST. The value
should not exceed or go below 640 KB.
Extended Memory This field reports the amount of extended memor

address map. Because all models in the NEC
Versa 2500 Series have a minimum of 16 MB of memor

if you want to boot
from a diskette. If there is no diskette found in the flopp

drive, the computer then tries to load the operatin

tries to load the operating system from the hard drive.
