4. Select ADVANCED > Administration > Router Status.
The following information displays:
• Active Connection.
The current WAN interface the router is using.
• Account Name.
The router model.
• Firmware Version.
The version of the router firmware. It changes if you upgrade the
router firmware.
• Ethernet Port.
The Ethernet WAN port.
- MAC Address.
The Media Access Control address. This is the unique physical
address used by the Ethernet (LAN) port of the router.
- IP Address.
The IP address used by the Ethernet (LAN) port of the router. The
default is 192.168.0.1.
- Network T
ype. The connection type on the Ethernet WAN port, for example
DHCP, PPTP, PPPoE, or L2TP.
- IP Subnet Mask.
The IP subnet mask used by the Internet (WAN) port of the
router. Gateway IP Address.
- Domain Name Server.
The Domain Name Server addresses used by the router.
A Domain Name Server translates human-language URLs such as
www.netgear.com into IP addresses.
• Mobile Broadband Modem. Information about the modem and SIM card.
- Modem Identity.
- Modem SW version. Software or firmware version.
- Modem driver version. Kernel driver version.
- IMSI. International Mobile Subscriber Identity
