• Give line rate (6,3,3,1,2,n; 6,3,3,1,4,n)
This setting defines the maximum achievable bit rate in the line only if the
STU-C option is taken into use.
In the 4-wire mode, only even numbers for n are allowed (n = 6, 8, 10...32).
Power backoff (6,3,6)
• ON (6,3,6,1)
Select this option to enable transmit power reduction on short loops. The
transmit power is reduced as a function of the line power loss shown in
Table 16.
• OFF (6,3,6,2)
Select this option to disable transmit power reduction.
Line length
The maximal performance shown in Figure 77 is measured in ideal circumstances
with the VMOHBU 0.4 mm cable. In a real case, you should reserve 3-6 dB noise
margin due to changing circumstances in the line.
