Remove the air lter cover.11)
Using a Phillips screwdriver to turn the xing screw
z
of the air lter cover until loose and remove the
cover.

Remove the air lter unit.12)
Hold the grips on the air lter unit, and remove it

from the projector.

* After removing the air lter unit, remove any large
build ups of dirt or dust in the air lter unit bay and
the air intake port on the projector.
Press the protrusions of air lter unit 13)
removed from the projector in the
direction of the black arrow and remove
the air lter frame.
Replace the air lter/electrostatic lter.14)
Replace the air lter and electrostatic lter in the air
z
lter unit with new ones.
* Ensure you attach the electrostatic lter and air
lter in the correct order.

Assemble the air lter unit.15)
First insert the electrostatic lter (white) into the
z
center of the case ensuring that its edges do not
ride on top of the ribs, and then insert the air lter
(black) so that its four corners are within the case
before attaching the air lter frame.
* Take care so that the air lter does not get caught
between the air lter frame and the case.
* Align the catches and protrusions on the air lter
case and air lter frame when assembling the
air lter unit. When attaching the air lter frame,
ensure that the 4 catches are properly aligned with
the protrusions on the air lter case and they have
clicked into place.
Attach the air lter unit to the projector.16)
Attach the air lter unit to the projector using the
z
reverse of the procedure in 12).
* Insert the air lter unit into the projector in the
direction of the arrow engraved into the air lter
frame (
UP
)
until it clicks into place.
Attach the air lter cover, and rmly 17)
tighten the air lter cover xing screw
(one) with a Philips screwdriver.
Insert the power plug into a power outlet, 18)
and press the <ON> side of the <MAIN
POWER> switch to turn on the power.
Press the power <19)
/|> button on the
projector or on the remote control to
start video projection.
