5.9 Time Commands
The system clock can be dynamically set by polling a set of specified time servers (NTP or SNTP). Maintaining an accurate time
on the switch enables the system log to record meaningful dates and times for event entries. If the clock is not set, the switch will
only record the time from the factory default set at the last bootup.
Command Function Mode
sntp client Accepts time from specified time servers GC
sntp server
Specifies one or more time servers GC
sntp poll Sets the interval at which the client polls for time GC
show sntp Shows current SNTP configuration settings NE, PE
clock timezone Sets the time zone for the switch’s internal clock GC
