Serial Features
QuadraVista can be configured or controlled from a remote computer by connecting a serial cable
from the computer’s COM port to the QuadraVista’s serial input port.
To remotely configure the QuadraVista (Display / execute the OSD features only), download the
communication software from our web site at /www.rose.com/htm/download.htm in the tech
support section and install it on a remote windows based computer. Next, call up the OSD from
the local console and navigate to the “System, Control” section and change the DCP mode
setting to “control”.
Connect a serial cable from COM1 or COM2 port on the remote Laptop or PC to the RS232 port
on the rear panel of QuadraVista as shown below
