These instructions assume youÕve followed the steps above under ÔSetting an OptionÕ,
and the machine is prompting you to change one of the options listed here.
¥ DIAL TYPE
_
Select the type of dial system your fax machine is connected to.
Choose TONE if the fax machine is connected to a tone (Touch Tone) dial line.
Choose PULSE if the fax machine is connected to a pulse (rotary) dial line.
Whem powered off, the dial type is set to pulse, and returns to option setting with
power on.
¥ PAPER SIZE
_
Select the paper size you will use for the recording paper.
Choose LTR for letter, A4 for A4 size, or LGL to use legal size paper.
