Cleaning the Cartridge Carrier Contacts and Deflector
2. Unplug the power cord from the
electrical outlet or the rear of the
machine.
1. Remove the Print Cartridge. See
ÔReplacing the Print CartridgeÕ on
page 8.3.
3. Use a CLEAN, DRY CLOTH to clean the
Print Cartridge Carrier contacts (inside
the printer).

4. Clean the Carrier Deflector (inside the
printer).
5. Plug in the power cord, and install the
Print Cartridge. See page 2.7.
Note : You must choose ÔUsedÕ when the
display reads Ô:NEW :USEDÕ after
you install the cartridge if using
the same cartridge.
