• Special Mode 1
For originals trough which the rear side is extremely visible (or
have a colored background) with light text. Also for originals
with very grainy backgrounds (some newspapers) and light text
• Special Mode 2
For originals with colored text and lines
• Special Mode 3
For photo images created by dither patterns (dots visible), such
as newspaper photos — normal resolution
• Special Mode 4
For photo images created by dither patterns (dots visible), such
as newspaper photos — coarse resolution
• Special Mode 5
For normal text originals (when preserving the background)

5.Copy Reset Timer The machine returns to its initial condition automatically after
your job is finished. When you set the time, select“1. On/Off” to
“On”then set the “2. Timer”to the desired time. The time can be se-
lected from 10 to 999 seconds.
