Watch Dog Enable/Disable
JWD enables the Watch Dog function, a
system monitor that takes action when a
software application freezes the system.
Jumping pins 1-2 will have WD reboot the
system if a program freezes. Jumping pins
2-3 will generate a non-maskable interrupt
for the program that has frozen. See the
table on the right for jumper settings. Watch
Dog must also be enabled in BIOS.
Note: when Watch Dog is enabled,
the user must write their own
application software to disable the
Watch Dog Timer.

Compact Flash Master/Slave Select
A Compact Flash Master (Primary)/Slave
(Secondary) Select Jumper is located at
JCF1. Close this jumper to enable Compact
Flash Card. For the Compact Flash Card
or the Compact Flash Jumper (JCF1) to
work properly, you will need to connect the
Compact Flash Card power cable to JWF1
rst. Refer to the board layout below for the
location.

USB Wake-Up
JPUSB1 jumper allows you to "wake up"
the system by pressing a key on the USB
keyboard or by clicking the USB mouse of
your system. These jumpers are used in
conjunction with the USB Wake-Up function
in the BIOS. See the table on the right for
jumper settings and jumper connections. (the
default is Enabled)
BMC Jumper
JPB is used to enable or disable theBMC
(Baseboard Management Control) Chip and
the onboard IPMI connection.This jumper is
used together with the IPMI settings in the
BIOS. The default position is on pins 1 and
2 to Enable BMC. See the table on the right
for jumper settings.
