Onprocessorsthatsupportlargeprogrammodelcompilations,aversionofthealgorithmshouldbe
suppliedthataccessedallcorerun-timesupportfunctionsasnearfunctionsandallalgorithmsasfar
functions(mixedmodel).
Whenextendedprogrammemoryallowsoverlays,theusableprogramspaceoneachpageisreduced.To
ensurealgorithmusability,thecodesizeforeachloadableobjectmustbelimited.

Onprocessorsthatsupportanextendedprogramaddressspace(pagedmemory),thecodesizeofany
independentlyrelocatableobjectmoduleshouldneverexceedthecodespaceavailableonapage
whenoverlaysareenabled.
Noteherethatthealgorithmcanbelargerthanthislimit,butanyoneindependentlyrelocatableobject
modulemustnotexceedthelimit.FortheC54xx,thecodesizelimitis32Kwords.
