4 Replacement Procedures
4.13 Top Cover
Removing the Cover
To remove the top cover, first remove the battery pack, HDD, expansion memory module, ODD,
modem, wireless LAN unit, keyboard, Bluetooth module, and display assembly, as described in
the preceding sections. Follow the steps below to remove the top cover.
1. Remove three M2.5x6 screws and one M2.5x3 screw securing the top cover.

2. Detach the upper FFC cable (from direct play button module) and touch pad FPC cable from
the top cover.
3. Detach the USB and LAN cables.
