4.27 Display Mask 4 Replacement Procedures
3. A total of 18 snaps secure the display mask. Carefully insert your fingers between
the mask and the LCD panel and pry open the snaps. Start with the four snaps at
the top of the display mask. Continue unsnapping the display mask along the two
sides (five snaps on each side), and the bottom edge (four snaps).
Installing the Display Mask
To install the display mask, follow the steps below and refer to the figures in the
preceding section.
1. Seat the display mask and secure the snaps on each side.
2. Secure the display mask with two M2×3 screws at the top of display assembly and
another four M2.5×6 screws nearer the base.
3. Cover the six secured screws with mask seals.
