Main Menu (continued)
LAMP
Select the LAMP option to turn the lamp on or off and obtain a feedback from
the illumination sensor.
To run the LAMP diagnostic:
1. Press the Menu key. The MAIN MENU screen is displayed.
2. Press the Next key until DIAGNOSTICS is highlighted.
3. Press the Enter key to select DIAGNOSTICS. The DIAGNOSTICS
menu screen is displayed.
4. Press the Next key until SCANNER DIAGNOSTICS is displayed.
5. Press the Enter key to select SCANNER DIAGNOSTICS. The
SCANNER DIAGNOSTICS menu screen is displayed.
6. Press the Next key until COMPONENT TESTS is highlighted.
7. Press the Enter key to select COMPONENT TESTS. The
COMPONENTS TESTS menu screen is displayed.
8. Press the Next key until LAMP is highlighted.
9. Press the Enter key to select LAMP. The LAMP screen is displayed.
10. Press the Previous or Next key to turn the lamp ON or OFF. A value
from 1 to 255 displays in the SENSOR field. When the lamp is off, a
value of 0 or 1 is typical; when the lamp is on, a value of 50 to 150 is
typical.
11. Press the Exit key to return to the COMPONENT TESTS menu screen.
