PAPER TRAY OPEN
OR EMPTY
The printer has run out of paper. Refill the paper tray with paper.
The paper tray is open or not installed
properly.
Fully insert the paper tray into the
printer.
If problem persists, contact your dealer
or Xerox/Rank Xerox for technical
support.
PORT IS NOT
AVAILABLE
The printer is not communicating with
the PC/host.
Verify the parallel interface is connected
to the correct PC/host.
Verify the PC/host is using the parallel
port to establish communications.
If problem persists, contact your dealer
or Xerox/Rank Xerox for technical
support.
UNKNOWN STATUS
A printer hardware fault condition has
been detected.
Unplug printer from the wall outlet.
Wait one minute, then reconnect.
If problem persists, contact your dealer
or Xerox/Rank Xerox for technical
support.
