Clearing
Paper Jams
Paper Jam Causes
Following are some conditions that can cause paper jams.
• Removing the paper tray while a job is printing.
• Filling the tray too full.
• Not securing the paper stack under the metal corner of
the paper tray.
• Using paper that is too coarse or too smooth.
• Using damaged or used paper.
• Storing paper incorrectly, so that it curls or contains
moisture.
