Xvfb on AIX
For AIX, the Xvfb executable might not be installed by default. In this case, install the
executable from the operating system CDs using the following steps.
To install the executable from the operating system CD

Insert OS CD 1 in the CD drive and type the following on the command line:
smitty
2 Select Software Installation and maintenance.
3 Select Install and Update Software.
4 Select Install software.
5 For Select input device/directory, press F4 and select
/dev/cd0
6 For Select software to install, use
OpenGL.OpenGL_X.dev.vfb X11.vfb
7 When prompted, insert CD 3 and press Enter.
Xvfb on Linux
To run Perceive on Linux systems without a graphical device, you must install Xvfb
from the Linux/X11R6 RPM package manager that is compatible with your Linux
environment.
HP-UX Patches required to run Xvfb
For HP-UX, Xvfb is delivered as a function of the main video X server program,
/usr/bin/X11/X. Therefore, the following patches are required to use Xvfb on HP-UX
platforms:
