To build a custom view
1 Select a view category by clicking it.
A Computer Views contain views that display multiple charts for a single
computer.
B Group Views contain views that display one or two charts for each computer in a
group.
C Sample views (if shown) contain views that display custom-built views that can
be activated or deactivated for consumers or analysts to view.
2 Select a view within that category by clicking it.
3 Build your views.
A Click Create to add a view.
B Click Edit to customize an existing view.
4 To e-mail your administrator (for example, to request the sample views created by
the administrator detailed in step 1.C), click
Feedback.
5 To return to the Getting Started page, click the Home icon.
Perceive analyst user interface
As an analyst, your gateway to configuring Perceive is a view. The view is your
vehicle for controlling the way you want Perceive to perform for your consumers, so
they can easily obtain the pertinent data information at a glance.
Figure 38 shows the analyst user interface.
TIP
To understand the various functions in the Build Views tab and get started creating and
editing views, refer to “Building views” on page 101.
