Hi/Low Manual
Rekey
This setting allows you to choose
how you will verify a high or low
manual reading. There are two
methods for manual reading
verification: reentering the reading,
or visually verifying the reading. If
you choose to reenter the reading,
the Badger-Radix will expect an
exact match to the original manual
reading to verify the reading. If you
choose to visually verify the
reading, the Badger-Radix will ask
if the entered reading is correct.
You visually compare the reading
with the register odometer and enter
your response.
If the box is checked, the
Badger-Radix will prompt
you to reenter the manual
reading to verify it is correct.
If the box is not checked, the
Badger-Radix will ask if the
reading is correct. If it is,
press the Yes button. If it
does not match the odometer,
press the NO button.
Manual Route
Advance
When checked, the Badger-Radix
will not move to the next account
automatically. All changes of
accounts must be done manually.
We strongly suggest that this
setting be left unchecked. If
the setting is checked and you
do not realize it is checked,
the resulting operation of the
Badger-Radix can look as if
the unit is malfunctioning.
Three controls for
manual meter
readings for the
three possible
services (usually
water, gas, and
electric)
The field sets the default manual
reading entry direction for each of
the supported services. When the
button shows R-L, the default
reading entry direction is Right to
Left. When the button shows L-R,
the default reading entry direction is
Left To Right.
If the direction on the button
is not the direction you’d like
to use, press the button to
switch the direction to the
other value.
Read Screen
Show Comments
When checked, the messages from
the office to the meter reader for a
particular meter will be shown on
the read screen when that meter is
displayed.
If you wish to see these
messages, check the box.
However, if you are reading
meters from a vehicle, the
messages may not apply and
will definitely slow the
reading process. In that
event, you may wish to clear
the box.
Show Zero
Consumption
When checked, the Badger-Radix
will compare the current reading
with the previous reading and alert
you to possible stopped meters.
If you wish to see these
messages, check the box.
