1. RING DELAY Number of rings before machine 04 5-2
answers in FAX or FAX/TEL mode.
2. F/T RING TIME Sets the time for “double ring” in 20 SEC 5-2
FAX/TEL mode.
3. EASY RECEIVE Receive fax messages without ON 5-3
pressing the Start key.
4. REMOTE CODE Enter code to activate or deactivate ON (
51, #51) 5-7
machine from a remote location.
5. REDUCTION Reduces size of image. AUTO 5-4
If cassette #2 is attached to
FAX 4750, FAX 5750,
MFC 8600 or MFC 8700, you can
select the reduction ratio for each
cassette.
6. PAPER Selects size of paper for fax — 5-5
receiving.

you wish to use first.
