1. Replace the diskette and retest.
2. Check the switch settings and jumper positions on the
multipurpose fixed disk drive controller board and
retest (see Chapter 8).
3. Check and/or replace the diskette power and signal
cables and retest.
4. Replace the multipurpose fixed disk drive controller
board and retest.
5. Replace the diskette drive and retest.
6. Replace the system board and retest.
04 Previously exceeded maximum hard
error limit.
05 Failed to reset controller.
06 Fatal error while reading.
07 Fatal error while writing.
08 Failed compare of write/read buffers.
09 Failed to format a track.
