5.15 RTC Battery

The RTC battery is included in the Miscellaneous Plastics Kit,
spare part number 345066-001.
1. Prepare the notebook for disassembly (Section 5.3).
2. Remove the LED switch cover (Section 5.14).
3. Disconnect the RTC battery cable 1 from the system board.
4. Slide the RTC battery out of the clips in the top cover 2 and
remove the battery.
Removing the RTC Battery
Reverse the above procedure to install the RTC battery.
