Set Alarm Horn
Some of the audible alarms can be disabled, leaving only the red LED to warn
of the UPS alarm. Use this menu to enable or disable the audible alarm.

An asterisk, “*” appears by the selected value.
Set Password
Set Password
COMPAQ
A password must be set to protect access to some of the more critical UPS
operations. The six digits [0-9 & A-Z] are selected using the arrow keys.
1.
Choose the first digit using the UP and DOWN arrow keys.
2.
Press the RIGHT arrow key to move to the next digit.
3.
To change a digit, use the LEFT arrow key to go back.
4.
After the entire password has been entered, press the Enter button.
An asterisk, “*” denotes the password is set.
IMPORTANT:
Record the password for future use. If the password is lost, contact a
Compaq authorized service representative for help.
NOTE:
The password must be six characters long. The default password is “COMPAQ.”
