Notifications
You can set your device to remind you when you have something to do.
For example, if you have set up an appointment in Calendar, a task with a
due date in Tasks, or an alarm in Clock, you are notified in one of the
following ways:
• A message box appears on the screen
• A sound, which you can specify, plays
• A light flashes on your device
To configure the reminders and sounds for your device:

Beaming an Item
In the Calendar, Contacts, Notes, Tasks, Excel Mobile, Word Mobile,
PowerPoint Mobile, and Pictures programs, you can beam files and
information to other devices using Bluetooth or infrared.

From the program, select the item you want to beam, such as an
appointment in Calendar, a task in Tasks, a contact card in Contacts, or
a file in File Manager.

Do one of the following:
• If using Bluetooth, tap the device to which you want to send the item.
• If using infrared, align the infrared (IR) ports at close range until
the target device name appears, and then tap the device to which
you want to send the item.
