3. If contact is established with the unit, but the unit’s Web
pages cannot be accessed by your Web browser, verify (in
the Options or Preferences menu) that your Web browser
is configured for direct network connection and not set up
to use a proxy server.
Serial connections
1. Ensure that Pioneer plasma ID is set to 01 (see the Pioneer
plasma documentation for details).
2. Check to see that events are running.
3. Ensure that the on-screen display is off.
4. Check that the IPL M PDP-ES interface card baud rate
matches that of the control device (e.g., a PC or the MLC
206).
If status is missing or unavailable, check the following:
1. Ensure that the Pioneer plasma ID is set to 01 (see the
Pioneer plasma documentation for details).
2. Check that the IPL M PDP-ES interface card baud rate
matches that of the control device (e.g., a PC or the
MLC 206).
3. Ensure that the redirect port has been enabled.
If you are unable to access the Web server, do the following:
Ensure that your PC is on the same subnet mask as the
IPL M PDP-ES card. If not, see Configuring the IPL M PDP-ES
using direct PC connection in chapter 3 for detailed instructions
on setting up the subnet mask.
