4.4 Advanced Menu
To access this menu, select Advanced on the menu bar at the top of the screen.

Table 47 describes the Advanced menu. This menu is used for setting advanced features that are
available through the chipset.

Extended Configuration No options Indicates the setting of the Extended Configuration submenu
(from the Maintenance Menu)
Used
indicates that the Extended Configuration submenu is
being used.
Not Used
(the default) indicates that the Extended
Configuration submenu is not being used.
4Boot Configuration No options Configures Plug and Play and the Numlock key, and resets
configuration data. When selected, displays the Boot
Settings Configuration submenu.
4Peripheral Configuration No options Configures peripheral ports and devices. When selected,
displays the Peripheral Configuration submenu.
4IDE Configuration No options Specifies type of connected IDE device.
4Event Log Configuration No options Configures Event Logging. When selected, displays the
Event Log Configuration submenu.
4Video Configuration No options Specifies the primary video adapter.
