Waveform Modifier Controls—modifies some of the properties of
the waveform.
Duty Cycle—adjusts the duty cycles of the Sine Wave, Square
Wave, and Triangle Wave.
Offset—adjusts the DC offset of the waveform.
Amplitude—adjusts the peak amplitude of the generated
waveform.
Run—starts or stops waveform generation.
Note: Please refer to the VirtualBench-FG Online Help for additional help on the
front panel items.
Generating a Waveform
You can configure VirtualBench-FG to generate a waveform by
performing the following steps.
1. Configure the output.
a. Select Settings from the Edit menu on the front panel.
b. Select the Device that you want to use for waveform
generation. The device must be successfully configured in the
NI-DAQ Configuration Utility to appear in this list.
c. Set the Device Channel to 0 or 1.
d. Click on OK.
