National Instruments Corporation 7-3 Getting Started with VirtualBench
The Waveform Editor front panel of VirtualBench-Arb has the
following features:
View Control—selects the waveform view displayed on the graph.
Waveform displays the entire waveform. Segment displays the
first of the selected segments. Component displays only the first
selected component.
X Axis Control—selects the X-axis units. Time displays the
waveform as a function of time. Frequency displays the power
spectrum of the waveform.
Units Control—selects the active units currently being used for the
display and control values.
Style Control—changes the graph attributes.
Segment Listbox Control—selects the segment or component to be
edited. A segment is preceded by a number and indicates a unique
section of the waveform. The value in parentheses indicates the
segment length. Indented text in the list box represents a waveform
component.
New Segment Button—inserts a new waveform segment
immediately after the current selection.
New Component Button—inserts a new component immediately
after the current selection.
Component Type Control—selects the type of component. A
waveform Library function is one of 20 predefined waveform
patterns. An Expression is a single-variable function evaluated over
an interval. A Sketch is a waveform drawn by the mouse.
