The Waveform Editor front panel of VirtualBench-Arb has the
following features:
• View Control—selects the waveform view displayed on the graph.
Waveform displays the entire waveform. Segment displays the
first of the selected segments. Component displays only the first
selected component.
• X Axis Control—selects the X-axis units. Time displays the
waveform as a function of time. Frequency displays the power
spectrum of the waveform.
• Units Control—selects the active units currently being used for the
display and control values.
• Style Control—changes the graph attributes.
• Segment Listbox Control—selects the segment or component to be
edited. A segment is preceded by a number and indicates a unique
section of the waveform. The value in parentheses indicates the
segment length. Indented text in the list box represents a waveform
component.
• New Segment Button—inserts a new waveform segment
immediately after the current selection.
• New Component Button—inserts a new component immediately
after the current selection.
• Component Type Control—selects the type of component. A
waveform Library function is one of 20 predefined waveform
patterns. An Expression is a single-variable function evaluated over
an interval. A Sketch is a waveform drawn by the mouse.
