– Current AC—measures the AC component of a current
source.
– Ohms—measures resistance.
– Temperature—measures temperature.
– Diode—measures the voltage drop across a diode.
Note: Diode mode is only available when you are using the DAQCard-4050.
• Range Selector—determines the measurement range. This range is
different for each measurement mode. AutoRange mode selects the
best range to fit the input signal.
• Main Control Buttons
– Run—starts or stops the DMM acquisition.
– Single—acquires a single measurement.
– Log—enables logging.
• Math Control Buttons
– Null—selects Relative mode. When you select this button, all
subsequent measurements are made relative to the
measurement made when this button was pressed.
– Max/Min—displays the maximum and minimum values since
the button was first pressed.
– dB—displays the decibel value of your signal.
– dBm—displays the decibel power level with respect to
one mW.
– mX+B—manipulates normal display readings (X) according
to the calculation mX+B.
– %—displays the current value as a percentage of a reference.
