Defining System Information
1. Open the System Information page.
2. Define the following fields: System Name, System Location, and System Contact.
3. Click Apply.
The system parameters are applied, and the device is updated.
Network Connectivity
The network interface is the logical interface used for in-band connectivity with the switch via any
of the switch's front panel ports. The configuration parameters associated with the switch's
network interface do not affect the configuration of the front panel ports through which traffic is
switched or routed.
The Network Connectivity page allows you to change the IP information using the Web interface.
To access the page:
1. Click System > Management > IP Configuration in the navigation tree.
Boot Version The bootcode version of the switch.
Software Version The software version of the switch.
Note: If you want the switch to retain the new values across a power cycle, you must
perform a save. Click Maintenance > Save Configuration to save all applied
changes.
