92 Remote Gateway 9150 Installation and Administration Guide
Installing the Remote Gateway 9150 unit Standard 3.1
2 Place the screws in a safe place where they cannot be lost.
3 Ensure the Remote Gateway 9150 unit is placed top side up.
4 Remove the cover as follows:
a. Grasp both sides of the Remote Gateway 9150 unit.
b. Slide the cover toward you.
c. Lift the cover off the unit.
d. Put the cover aside.
5 Turn the Remote Gateway 9150 unit so the rear panel faces you.
Note: This allows you to read the labels on the Remote Gateway 9150 unit
circuit board.
6 Perform module installation as required.
Note: For instructions, refer to “To install trunk interface or DSP application
modules:” on page 96.
7 Replace the cover as follows:
! Carefully slide the top cover into position over the circuit board so that
the holes along the top edge of the rear panel are aligned.
! Replace the four screws on the top.
! Replace the two screws on the sides.
! Turn the Remote Gateway 9150 unit over and replace the eight screws
on the bottom.
8 Continue with “Installing the Remote Gateway 9150 unit” on page 98.
