The following procedure is for Nortel Networks trained service personnel only.
1.
Turn off the Switch and unplug it from its power source.
2.
Unscrew the four screws securing the slide-out tray.
3.
Pull out the tray by gripping it with the screws.
4.
Remove the filler panel screw and pull out the slot filler panel.
5.
Slide the option card into the intended slot. Make sure the card seats
firmly and evenly into the card slot. If the card is not seated properly, it
will not work. Populate the slots from Slot 1 to Slot 6, in that order.
6.
Secure the option card into the tray with the slot filler panel screw.
7.
Reverse Steps 3, 2, and 1, in that order.
