1 Selecting the content file in the
[
Podcast
], [
Audiobooks
](DAISY,
Audible, Audio Book, Text
Speech) folder.
2 Press the `
OK
button to start
playback.
Playback Position mode
The recorder has a playback position mode to
automatically bookmark the latest position
where you previously stopped playback for files
transferred to the [Podcast] and [Audiobooks]
(DAISY, Audible, Audio Book, TextSpeech)
folders. Even the recorder is stopped while a file
is being played back, the last stop position is
recalled from the file, and the file can be played
back from that position next time.
Playback
When you play the file which you have
previously played back, the playback
starts from the last stop position.
3 Press the
STOP
button at any
point you want to stop the
playback.
4 Playing back the contents file
which has been played back
halfway.
Stop a file playback at any point.
The stop position is memorized as a
Playback Position in the file. In this
status, even if you select an empty

Forwarding
While the recorder is during stop
mode, press and hold the

utton.
When you release the button, the
recorder stops.

button is pressed, playback starts
from this position.
While the recorder is during playback
mode, press and hold the

utton.
When you release the button the
recorder will resume normal playback.
• If an index mark ( P.52) or Playback
Position is marked in the middle of the le,
the playback stops once at that position.
T
he recorder stops when it reaches the
end of the le. Continue pressing the 9
button to proceed with the cue from the
beginning of the next le.
Forwarding operation does not work for the
DAISY les and text les.
Playback
file, move to the other folder, or turn
the recorder off, the playback starts
from the last memorized position
when you play the same file.
