Inserting the Wi-Fi card
Make sure that Bluetooth wireless feature is off before inserting the Wi-Fi card.
See the Getting Started guide for instructions.

1 Insert the card into the expansion
slot with the palmOne logo label
facing the front of the handheld.
2 Push the card in until you hear the confirmation tone. The top of the card
extends from the slot when the card is fully inserted.

Complete the steps in the
Getting Started guide in
your Wi-Fi card package
to install the Wi-Fi
software on your
handheld. Your handheld
must have at least 7MB of
free memory to install the
Wi-Fi software.
Tip
You can conserve battery
power by removing the
Wi-Fi card or turning off
Wi-Fi when you are not
planning on using it for
an extended period.
Tip
No confirmation tone
when you insert the card?
In Preferences, go to
Sounds & Alerts and turn
on the System Sound.
