Hard Disk Drive

Be sure to back up all important data before the change.
To technicians (at Panasonic Technical Support):
Be careful when replacing the hard disk. The hard disk is extremely sensitive to
shock. In addition, static electricity could later affect some internal components.
Installing/Removing the hard disk
(For technicians at Panasonic Technical Support)
For information on FAT32, refer to "Technical Information" ( page 40).
Hard Disk
Pull the tab of hard disk according to the arrow, and slightly lift the
hard disk drive.
Removing/Installing the hard disk

Power off your computer ( "Starting Up/Shutting Down")
Do not shut down using the suspend or hibernation mode.

Open the display
Slide the latch located at the front and lift open the display.

Open the cover.

Open the cover
Open Slot
Insert a thin, flat object, like a ruler into the open slot on the left side
of the computer to release a lock.
Tab
Do not install or remove peripherals while your computer is in the
suspend or hibernation mode; abnormal operation may result.
