If a memory communication has been unsuccessful due to a busy line or no answer, the document you
stored is automatically erased from memory after the last redial.
If you need to retain the document even if the communication failed, change the setting of Fax Parameter
No. 031 (INC. FILE SAVE) to Valid in advance. (See page 189)
To retry the incomplete file, print a File List first to verify the file number. (See page 103)
Then, follow the steps below.
Make sure that the FAX/EMAIL lamp is ON. If not, press to select the "FAX/EMAIL" mode.
NOTE
1. To confirm or change the entered telephone number for the file, see page 98 and 100.
2. If you set Fax Parameter No.031 to Valid, all incomplete files will remain in the memory. To
avoid memory overflow, please check the memory content frequently. We recommend that
optional flash memory card is installed when this function is used. (See page 212)
