Using the
Web Screen
Port Forwarding
The Port Forwarding table allows you to control the access from the Internet to the home
network. The Protocol, Forwarding Port and Forwarding IP Address can be specified in the table
below.
Note:
Setting the table may pose a security risk because the unknown
packet is sent from the outside of the home network. Please set the
table only when you need to.

Select “ENABLED” or “DISABLED”. When set to “ENABLED”, the
entry works as specified. When set to “DISABLED”, the entry does
not work but will work when set to “ENABLED” later.
Set the protocol(s) with which you use to send/receive a data from
the Internet by selecting from the protocol selector. The TCP, UDP
or TCP&UDP are available.
Specify the port(s) to receive data from the Internet.
When a single port is desired, type the port number.
When a range of port is desired, enter the range using “-”. For
example, to specify the ports from 2000 to 3000, enter as
“2000-3000”. The starting port number must be lower in value
than ending port number.
Set the local IP address of a computer in the home network. A data
from the Internet is forwarded to the IP address entered in this data
field. It is recommended to set up the KX-HGW200 for a static IP
network.
